Samantha Swift and the Fountains of Fate PC

Samantha Swift and the Fountains of Fate is the fourth installment of the highly acclaimed series of adventures with the title character in the lead role. Developers from Mumbo Jumbo studio once again took advantage of proven gameplay mechanics, but presented a completely new story.

The main plot of the game is the search for a legendary fountain of youth. With the Emerald of the Court, an artifact with extraordinary properties, the young archaeologist Samantha Swift embarks on a journey to various corners of the world (including Iraq, Arizona and the Bahamas), trying to find new magical sources. Her actions are intertwined by a pair of cunning enemies - M'Alice and Payne. Fortunately, the heroine can count on the help of her faithful friends - Adam's adventurer and archaeologist Dr. Butler.

Like the previous installments of the cycle, Samantha Swift and the Fountains of Fate combines puzzles of the kind of "hidden objects" with simple puzzles and mini-games. However, the creators were tempted to innovate a few times. The challenge for the player are, for example, tasks in which objects hidden in the pictures have been additionally covered by other objects, or described by an enigmatic formula (for example, the "ancient torch" is a torch).

Like in Samantha Swift and the Mystery from Atlantis, the game offers two standard play modes - timed mode (with a certain amount of time to solve each puzzle) and relaxed mode (no limit). The player can also unlock Unlimited Hidden Object mode as long as they are able to find a sufficient number of birds in the images.

In comparison to competing productions, Samantha Swift and the Fountains of Fate is distinguished by an attractive 2D graphic design, maintained in a comic style. While solving puzzles, the player can listen to the background music in a climate corresponding to the locations visited from all over the world.
