Sam Power: Footballer

Sam Power: Footballer is an uncomplicated sport game with comic-like stylistics devoted mainly to younger players. The game was created in Tectoy Digital, a Ubisoft subsidiary.

You play as one of three young football players: Tim, Sam, or Jake, who dream of becoming a real football star. As always, the beginnings of the career are not easy. You start playing in a local club, but as your character becomes better in his trade, he draws attention of more prestigious teams. In time he takes part in more and more important matches, drawing ever closer to his ultimate dream – winning the World Cup.

In contrast to many similar games, where training is just an addition, here this is the core of the gameplay. This is realized in a form of 8 mini-games that let you practice individual skills – ball control, shooting accuracy, dribbling, free kicks, blocking, attacking, and strategy. These exercises are based on real training techniques used by professional couches. It is noteworthy, that you have to take care of not only your career, but also good relations with the couch and teammates.

Apart from the previously described single player campaign, called Road to Fame, you can test your skills in another game mode – Fundamentals – where you do particular exercises in any order you want. Progress in Sam Power: Footballer is rewarded with special cards, which you can trade with your friends. What is more, you can unlock another mini-game.
