A dynamic TPP action game developed by Crytek. Its story is present mainly in the form of flashbacks and takes us to ancient Rome, right before its fall. The main hero – centurion Marius Titus – wants to take revenge on barbarians who murdered his family. Ryse: Son of Rome has been developed with Kinect in mind from the very start, allowing players to perform various combinations of attacks through body movement.

Ryse: Son of Rome for PC and XONE is a dynamic action game set in the ancient Rome. The game is developed by Crytek from Germany, known for the first-person shooter series Crysis. The PC version is a console port of the Xbox One launch title released in November 2013. First information about this game appeared in 2011. According to Crytek’s plans from that time, Ryse was meant to be released on Xbox 360 and support only Kinect as a controller.

Plot and Mechanics

You play as Marius Titus, a Roman centurion, who is seeking revenge for the death of his loved ones. In addition to cutting his way through hordes of enemies, he also has to command his subordinates. The combat mainly boils down to pressing button combinations, resulting in Titus performing combos and spectacular finishers.
