The game, in the background of which motifs from Greek Roman mythology alternate, we observe from the point of view of the third person. The player takes on the role of the title character of Rygar, a dead warrior, who this time has to save the princess from the hands of evil and bring peace to the island of Argus. The main mode of the game, which will lead us to our goal, is called Conquest, and for players who like to fight without any fictional overtones there is Gladiator mode. Here we have to face 30 waves of stronger and stronger enemies - every fifth wave ends with a boss fight, and finally we have a mega opponent waiting for us, which will not be seen in Conquest mode.
