A third person survival action game, featuring additional RPG elements and an open world. RuneScape: Dragonwilds allows to play alone or in coop. We travel through the Ashenfall land, gathering resources for crafting, as well completing quests and eliminating enemies (including dragons).
RuneScape: Dragonwilds is a survival action game with RPG elements, set in the universe created for RuneScape. The original game is an MMORPG from 2001, which over the years has seen a re-edition and a card game spin-off. The development of this new survival game was done by Jagex studio, which is responsible for the entire brand.
Gameplay
In RuneScape: Dragonwilds the action is viewed from a third-person perspective (TPP). The game gives us an open world at our disposal.
Crafting and building
The crafting system is the key element of the game. The collected resources, such as wood or ore, can be used not only for the production of weapons, tools, potions, and other useful equipment, but also for the construction of various objects.
Exploration and combat
Additionally, we can freely explore the game world and discover its secrets, as well as perform quests assigned by its inhabitants. There is also no shortage of opportunities here to engage in dynamic battles with opponents.
Among the enemies standing in our way, we will find both foes known from the original RuneScape, as well as completely new adversaries like Garou. We eliminate opponents using melee weapons, ranged weapons or magic. As we progress through the game, we develop our character, facing greater challenges over time.
Story
RuneScape: Dragonwilds takes us to the fantasy world created for the game RuneScape, specifically - to the unexplored continent of Ashenfall. When the dragons woke up, led by a powerful queen, the fate of this land hung by a thread. However, not all is lost, as heroes stand in the way of the winged reptiles. Our task is to kill the dragon queen, and thus - to stop their destructive march.
Co-op
RuneScape: Dragonwilds allows for single-player fun or online cooperative gameplay for up to 4 people.
Graphics
The graphic design of RuneScape: Dragonwilds is maintained in a colorful style reminiscent of Pixar animations.
