R.O.S.E. Online is a MMORPG produced by Korean developer studio Triggersoft. The action is set in a universe combining elements of fantasy and science fiction. The player directs the actions of one of the envoys of the good goddess Arue, who is to help in the fight against the evil Hebern and his servants. The game is also known as Rush On Seven Episodes.
The imaginative world of R.O.S.E Online consists of 7 unique planets. Each planet has its own set of particular environments and characteristics. Interplanetary explorers will enjoy the many different adventure scenarios that these worlds have to offer.
Players can form groups and compete for dominion over the seven planets. Unlike a small scale war, such as a guild war in which players fight for the possession of castles, players can take part in a huge war in which the fate of an entire planet is at stake. Once you become the king of a planet, you will have political and conomic authority as ruler of that planet's government. The one who can put all 7 planets under his control will become the most powerful force in the world.
There are a total of 3 forms of transportation available in R.O.S.E Online. Castle Gear which was developed to cause great damage to enemies in battles, Cart which was developed to efficiently traverse the vast fields and desert and Flying Vessel which realizes the dream of exploring outer space. It is possible to customize Carts and Castle Gears by changing parts and upgrading abilities .
The quests in R.O.S.E Online are affected by the activities of the user community. Every change in the game, such as Item price, monster spawn rate, MVP monster spawn rate or the weather, is dramatically influenced by the actions of the users. Every major event that occurs on the 7 planets is recorded on the official website. The names of characters that played key roles in these events are displayed on the official website so that they may receive recognition as legends.
Factions differ from 'Clans' because the faction community is controlled by NPCs rather than by the users. By joining factions, users can participate in various quests which drive the stories of the 7 planets. Every faction has a certain extent of authority on economy, politics, public orders, magic, arts and religion. Each faction has its own alliances and hostilities, and different events can occur as a result of the complexity of the relationships between factions.
Materials for creating items are distributed differently in various areas. Therefore, towns in different areas possess differing amounts of each material. As a result, when a town possesses too much of one material, the price of that material goes down automatically, and when the amount of a specific material becomes lower than expected, the town immediately activates a quest which encourages users to
gather the materials in order to balance out the economy of the town. Users can take advantage of this economy system by buying an item at a low price in one town and selling the item at higher price in another town.
