A mobile installment of the popular economy simulation strategy game series in which we manage our own theme park. RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch was developed by the creators of RollerCoaster Tycoon World for PC: Nvizzio Creations. In RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch, we traditionally assume the role of a newly-opened theme park’s manager and have to transform it into a grand amusement park that attracts crowds of visitors.

RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch for AND and iOS is a mobile installment of the popular economy simulation strategy game series. The production uses the free-to-play business model and was developed by Nvizzio Creations, the creators of RollerCoaster Tycoon World for PC.

Mechanics

The basic gameplay formula is identical to that of all previous installments of the series. In RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch for AND and iOS, we traditionally assume the role of a manager of a newly-opened, small theme park and have to transform it into a grand amusement park that attracts a constant stream of visitors every day.

To achieve this goal, we have to construct new attractions, stores, restaurants, decorations, and buildings that satisfy our guests’ needs. In total, there is over a hundred kinds of buildings at the player’s disposal. At the same time, it is important to keep the visitors’ satisfaction level at a high level. Moreover, we have to handle the purely business aspect that requires us to increase income and cut costs.

In the game, the key role is played by the eponymous rollercoasters, the series’ hallmark. RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch offers considerable freedom in designing them. With a simple touch system, we draw their shape and select materials for their every fragment. The fun is enriched by slight CCG elements. For our financial successes and performing individual tasks, the player is rewarded with sets of random cards that let us unlock new attractions and rollercoaster parts.

Technical aspect

RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch offers attractive three-dimensional graphics with a high level of details. It is the first mobile installment of the series to feature full 3D.
