Roland Garros 2005 is a powerful tennis simulator made by Namco for PlayStation 2 users. Players take on the role of one of the 15 world-class tennis players and participate in matches against computer-aided intelligence or live opponents. The game is based on solutions known from the Smash Court Tennis series, which, however, have been enriched with new courts and additional play modes.

The premier French tournament is brought vividly to life powered by the proven Smash Court Tennis engine. Featuring a new Roland Garros mode that puts players into the heart of the atmosphere and challenge.

Reading like a who's who of the Pro circuit, big names like Lleyton Hewitt and Lindsay Davenport can be found on the roster. While Roland Garros 2005 expands on the playable courts now including 'Court Philippe Chatrier', 'Court Suzanne Lenglen', 'No.1 Court' and 'No.2 Court'.

Control one of 15 officially licensed stars of the tennis circuit and take part in a range of game modes for up to four players.
