Rogue Loops

Rogue Loops is an action game with RPG and roguelike elements, in which we take control of characters trying to break free from the titular loop. The game was developed by the Turkish studio Fubu Games.

Gameplay

In Rogue Loops we watch events in an isometric view. The game gives us access to family members who are diverse in terms of characteristics, skills, and fighting styles. Assuming the role of a chosen character, we explore locations and face hordes of enemies. We engage in dynamic battles with both normal enemies and bosses who are much more powerful than them, guarding the exit from each loop.

Enhancements and curses

As we progress, we improve the protagonists, developing their skills and collecting relics, as well as discovering their synergies. The matter is complicated by the fact that each enhancement is tied to a specific curse, which means that although we grow stronger over time, the same happens with the loop and the threats lurking within it. For example, one of the relics can cause a room to be swarming with traps, while increasing the strength of attacks will block our ability to dodge in a certain area.
