Rocky Balboa Description
Rocky Balboa is a boxing game based on the film of that title. The cinematic original marks the sixth reincarnation of the movie series about the famous boxer starred by Sylvester Stallone. The player goes back to the ring, as the master fighter makes a comeback from his well-earned retirement.
In the story mode you have to take on Mason Dixon – a much younger boxer, who wants to take the place of the old champion. In order to defeat him, you must go through a series of retrospect duels with old-time opponents (e.g. Apollo Creed and Clubber Lang). These fights will let Rocky recall his skills and moves before the final confrontation with Dixon.
The game also lets you play out invented duels, e.g. try your skills as Ivan Drago against Lang or Creed. Such duels are fought either against the Artificial Intelligence or a living opponent via Wi-Fi.
The game features unique atmosphere, characteristic of Rocky films. Therefore, there are plenty of dramatic situations highlighted by an excellent work of a virtual camera. The filmic atmosphere is further enhanced by realistic character models – each one has his own characteristic fighting style and recognizable appearance.
