Rocket Racer

Rocket Racer is a racing game from PLAY. This position allows us to take part in a series of fifteen competitions, which make up the legendary intergalactic tournament, which according to the authors of the project took place in the distant past.

As the name suggests, production allows us to manage a super-fast, space rocket. Unlike other races, our feats at the helm of a futuristic vehicle are not aimed at fighting the opponents directly, but only at dealing with their driving times. For each of the routes is assigned the best result, which we are obliged to beat in order to get access to the next track.

The course of all events is observed from the perspective of the first person, seeing in front of you the sight of your rocket. When moving along the asteroid belts, we encounter several types of afterburners (e.g. a gravitone cannon or a superspatial tunnel) and five useful objects (extra lives, shields, etc.). Simultaneously, we still need to be careful not to be pulled through a black hole and not to hit the heavenly bodies standing on our way. Each impact on the meteor reduces the energy bar of the rocket, which threatens to end the whole game sooner than we thought. We can only expect a bonus if you pass one of the ten gates, which are checkpoints that increase the speed of our vehicle and provide it with an additional supply of invaluable time.
