Reviver is an adventure-puzzle game from the point & click type, telling a story about love and the passage of time. It was developed by Cotton Game - an independent studio from Shanghai, which specializes in projects of this genre.

Story

The main characters of Reviver are two characters - Felicia and Carlos. The game allows us to accompany them on a journey through life from youth to old age, as well as shape their fate by making various decisions. Due to the so-called butterfly effect, the choices we make are interconnected - even the smallest ones can have significant consequences.

Gameplay

Reviver consists of scenes telling specific stories. For the purposes of the game, dozens of puzzles and mini-games were prepared, which were then inserted into the plot. Puzzles can involve interacting with elements of the environment, various jigsaws, as well as more ingenious challenges, such as fighting a monster.

As we progress, we not only get to know the main characters better, but also make decisions that shape their lives in various ways. We can see the consequences of our actions and choices by moving through time. The game allows us to freely travel between the past and the future. In this way, we can not only see the effects of our actions, but also understand the reasons that led to a particular scene looking a certain way.
