Remote Racers is another, after AiRace and AiRace Speed, racing production in the output of QubicGames studio. This time, however, developers from Warsaw decided to stay on the ground, and the source of inspiration for them were the Micro Machines series and the game Re-Volt.
During the game, the player has the opportunity to play the role of a driver of remote-controlled vehicles and stand at the start of crazy races, the routes of which run, among others, in the garden, basement, on the beach and in the sea depths. The competition is based on the principle "every way is good" and the participants do not choose the means to cross the finish line before their rivals.
The game offers three gameplay modes: single race, championships and time race. For winning the championship, as well as setting up new race and time trial records, the player earns points to unlock new vehicles and routes.
There are eight vehicle models available in the game: Speeder, Monster, Candy, Dozer, Tank, Stunt, Mantis and Rocket. Interestingly, everyone has several versions that change according to the terrain on which they move (e.g. when in contact with water, the car turns into a boat or amphibian). The game takes place on 32 different routes.
The game is set for dynamic action. The driving model used has a strictly arcade character. In addition, during races you can benefit from special properties of vehicles and power-ups collected along the way (temporary acceleration, rockets and others).
The Remote Racers visual luminaire combines elements 2 and 3D. Events in the game are presented with the use of 3D graphics on the top display of the console. The lower screen shows a map of the route and the position of the player and his rivals controlled by computer artificial intelligence.
