Looter shooter, in which we observe the action from a top-down view, distributed in free-to-play model. In Relic Hunters Legend, we play as the titular Relic Hunters who travel the galaxy in an attempt to restore knowledge of the past and end the regime of Duke Dukan.
Relic Hunters Legend is a looter shooter, distributed in a free-to-play model with micropayments. It was developed by Rogue Snail, an indie studio from Brazil. It was published by Gearbox Publishing.
Plot
Relic Hunters Legend takes us to the galaxy, in which Duke Dukan rules with a firm hand. This duck not only imposed an oppressive regime, but also managed to steal the past while telling everyone that everything good is his fault. The titular Relic Hunters, led by Pinkyy, traverse the galaxy looking for ruins and other remnants of a past civilization in order to restore the memory of real events of the past. They can rely on the help of the mysterious Seven, a person with amnesia who can travel in time.
The knowledge of the game world can be deepened by reading the official comic books and animated shorts.
Game mechanics
In Relic Hunters Legend we observe the action from a top-down view. We travel through various locations scattered around the galaxy and complete different tasks, facing hordes of enemies on the way. Battles are fast-paced and require dexterity and reflexes. As we progress we gain better weapons and armor or improve the equipment we already have, as well as unlock new skills and develop character statistics. All this with time allows us to face more and more challenges.
Game modes
In Relic Hunters Legend you can play solo or in co-op mode for up to four people.
Technical aspects
Relic Hunters Legend was made in a cartoon style. This applies both to graphics and the way of making cutscenes and the soundtrack, which encourages us to fight.
