Reign of Thunder is a game from Day 1 Studios, the creators of the MechAssault series, which is an online action game in which players sit at the helm of great and powerful mosses. Reign of Thunder is a dynamic action/TPP game for online gameplay, where players have the opportunity to control the mosses. The title is based on a free-to-play model, and Day 1 Studios is responsible for its production, with games such as MechAssault or the third part of the F.E.A.R. series.
In Reign of Thunder, apart from the choice of the moss, the player has a lot of possibilities to modify it, starting from the exchange of weapons, ending with the use of any ointment of shields or other improvements. After selecting the options we are interested in, we move to the battlefield, where up to 16 players can stay at once. Users have the opportunity to compete in a variety of gameplay modes, such as the regular Deathmatch or Team Deathmatch. The game does not lack modes based on common tasks.
The production was created on an original engine called Despire. Thanks to this technology, the game takes advantage of the possibilities offered by DirectX 11 libraries, which translates into detailed and nice graphics. In addition, most of the environmental elements on the maps, such as buildings and bridges, are fully susceptible to damage.
In addition to the multiplayer mode, Reign of Thunder offers you the opportunity to play bot games on your own, mainly to test different armament configurations or to see the maps.
