Take control of fighters in the days of pilots such as Manfred von Richthofen and Ernst Udet. Excellent air simulator allowing us to take an active part in the First World War.

Red Baron 3D is one of the few simulators allowing you to play the role of heavenly aces during the First World War. Compared to the first part (which gained huge popularity among fans of this type of games) released a few years earlier, the graphics, using 3D accelerators, have undergone a very significant improvement. The action has also been enriched with the possibility of attacking ground targets. Again we have the possibility to choose between different types of individual missions or a full campaign in the colours of one of the four armies taking part in the fights in France. We have long hours of flight in several types of missions. During our career, our successes will be rewarded with promotion, and for special achievements the command will award us with medals. The programmers provided us with 22 types of machines from the primitive Morane Bulet and Fokker Eindecker to sophisticated late war constructions such as Sopwith Snipe and Fokker D. VII. The other so many different types of aircraft we will encounter in the air. Each of them is equipped with its own AI system and its presence in the air is not accidental. A recognized formation can be, among others, an allied patrol squadron, an enemy observation plane or a formation of enemy bombers whose aim is our home airport. Thanks to this, the authors of the game managed to convey the impression of war around us. The area of our activities (more than 40,000 square miles) has been built on the basis of topographic images.
