Real Madrid: The Game is a sports game produced by the Atomic Planet Entertainment development team with football fans in mind, especially the title team. Real Madrid: The Game Description
Real Madrid: The Game is the last game created by the British Atomic Planet Entertainment studio. According to the authors' intention, the title was to be an innovative combination of life simulation, sports game and cRPG.
Plot
The main character of Real Madrid: The Game is an amateur soccer player who takes his first steps in professional soccer. Thanks to systematic training and opportunities given by the coach and teammates, he wants to break through to the main line-up of Los Galacticos and, together with the team, reach for the champion's title.
Mechanics
The player's task is to develop soccer skills of the character and then use them during matches. The foundation of the game consists of mini-games illustrating various situations on the pitch (e.g. a free-kick, a corner, taking over the ball). Our effectiveness translates into recognition in the eyes of the coach, players, and fans. The higher it is, the more opportunities we get to play.
The creators of Real Madrid: The Game tried to present the life of a young soccer player as faithfully as possible. That's why the hero's duties include not only regular training on the pitch but also taking care of the private matters, giving interviews, visiting the gym and spending the money reasonably.
Technical aspects
The three-dimensional models of characters and objects are not very detailed, but Real Madrid fans should easily recognize the silhouettes of their favorite soccer players or the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
