A humorous top-down shooter created by the independent developer team at Team2Bit. The action takes place in 1986 when a mysterious organization kidnaps the leaders of the world's two main superpowers: Reagan and Gorbachev. With both the world peace and themselves being at risk, the two presidents have to put aside their differences and join forces, for only cooperation will allow them to escape and prevent a nuclear apocalypse.

Reagan Gorbachev for PC and XONE is a humorous top-down shooter developed by Team2Bit, the creators of Fist Puncher, among other titles.

Story

The game takes us to the year of 1986. At the beginning of the campaign, a mysterious extremist military organization kidnaps Reagan and Gorbachev. Both gentleman have to put aside their differences because only close cooperation gives them a chance at escaping and surviving. What is worse, it quickly turns out that, in fact, the kidnappers want to bring a nuclear apocalypse to Earth. Therefore, both presidents have to save the world from that fate, as well.

Gameplay

The preposterous story was made into an old-school shooter with an aerial view. The player’s task is to break through levels that are full of enemies. The protagonist are not very damage resistant, though, so taking a Rambo-style fight to our foes is usually a very bad idea. Each attack has to be carefully planned and then realized with surgical precision.

Reagan Gorbachev for PC and XONE also offers a stealth system which allows us to sneak behind our enemies’ backs and eliminate them silently. At the same time, each level is designed in a way that it is possible to complete it stealthily or engaging in spectacular shootouts. In the game, we will use an arsenal of various weapons ranging from swords, through pistols and rifles, and ending with rocket launchers.

Game modes

Reagan Gorbachev offers a cooperative mode for two players. It is also possible to play alone. For the latter, the developers prepared an unusual system that allows us to control both protagonists simultaneously.
