RC Simulation 2.0 for PC is an interesting simulator game created by devotid - a company associated mainly with design and production of gadgets for different businesses. Several years back however, the company began creating video games, and thus D Series Off Road Simulation was created, as well as RC Simulation 2.0.
Mechanics
As the title suggests, RC Simulation 2.0 for PC gives an opportunity to steer virtual RC models, such as cars, boats or quadcopters. The in-game vehicles were recreated in a scale of one to ten, and the player will find here such models as Buggy 2WD/4WD, Stadium Truck 2WD, Rock Crawler 4WD or Monster Truck. The player is required simply to steer virtual RC models, using different controllers. One can use a keyboard, any type of gamepad (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, or others), and most interestingly, real RC controllers connected thanks to a USB adapter. As a result, the game offers an experience that is yet closest to what controlling real RC models is all about. Also, controlling virtual RC models was never as precise as it is here.
Game modes
RC Simulation 2.0 for PC offers two main game modes. In the singleplayer component, the player enjoys controlling virtual models for as long as they want. In the multiplayer mode on the other hand, the players take part in races for up to 10 competitors. The players can either compete against one another (Races and Battles) or have fun together, without any objectives waiting to be completed.
Additionally, the game features a map/track editor. Those interested will find here over 150 different objects that can be used in creating one's own locations. The editor is simplicity-driven, thus the player only has to place the objects chosen on the map - being a talented designer is definitely not required. Player-made locations can be shared with others thanks to Steam Workshop.
