An official baseball sports game, created by studio Major League Baseball Advanced Media which was formed by American Major League Baseball (MLB). Just like the games released in 2014 and 2015, R.B.I. Baseball 16 enables you to become a manager of a selected baseball team from MLB to play one full season and off-season matches for the main trophy. R.B.I.

R.B.I. Baseball 16 is another installment in the series of baseball sports games, also available for PC, PS4 and etc.. It is also the third game in this classic series from NES console released after the series’ reboot. Like the previous titles, it was created by the Major League Baseball Advanced Media studio which was formed by the board of American Major League Baseball (MLB). The mobile version of the game offers the same amount of content and quality as editions for PC and consoles (just as in case of the installments from 2014 and 2015).

Mechanics

The gameplay is pretty much the same as it was in R.B.I. Baseball 15 and 14. You can once again take charge of a selected baseball team from MLB and play a full season, including off-season matches for the main trophy of the league. As R.B.I. Baseball 16 is the only baseball game with the official MLB license released in 2016, you can find here complete and authentic squads of all teams taking part in the competition, as well as detailed data and statistics for each player. Actual information is provided with regular updates, including changes occurring during the season 2016.

As a proper annual sports game, R.B.I. Baseball 16 for PC, PS4 and etc. offers many new features and upgrades that make the game more attractive and improve the comfort of playing. The most important changes include new moves (dives, wall-catches, pump-fakes), better AI of defensive players and improved ball systems. There is also an option to choose one of several difficulty levels, dependent on player’s preferences and manual skills.

Game modes

Apart from career for single player and quick match modes, R.B.I. Baseball 16 offers a versus option for two players playing on one computer or console. Naturally, it is unavailable on mobile devices.

Technical aspects

R.B.I. Baseball 16 for PC, PS4 and etc. differs from previous games in the series with upgraded graphics, including more detailed stadiums and better light effects. In terms of visual aspects the game looks a bit worse than titles from the most popular series of sports games, but it is an effect of a compromise made in order to get similar level of graphics both on gaming systems and mobile devices.
