A third expansion for the popular economic strategy from 2023. Railway Empire 2: India focuses on the Indian subcontinent , featuring 3 new scenarios (1840, 1854 and 1865), 4 new local locomotives and the option to haul 16 new types of local products.
Railway Empire 2: India is the third (after Journey to the East and High Voltage) expansion pack for the economic strategy game from 2023. The authors of the original, the Gaming Minds Studios team, are behind the development of this DLC.
Novelties in the DLC
Railway Empire 2: India takes us to the titular Indian subcontinent. Our task is to cover this area with a railway network, through which the transport of goods will be carried out and control over this territory will be exercised. When the influence of the East India Company begins to wane, we will have no choice but to establish direct cooperation with the British Crown.
In addition to the new setting, the expansion features three new scenarios - "Foreign Regency", "Karmic Justice" and "Colours of India". They take us to Bangalore, Calcutta and Bombay, allowing us to see India in different years (1840, 1854 and 1865).
In addition, the DLC introduces 4 local locomotives, led by the Fairy Queen and BNR Class N, and 5 imported ones, as well as 16 regional products such as silk, spiced Chai tea and traditional Naan bread.
Game modes
Just like the base version, Railway Empire 2: India can be played alone or in co-op mode via the Internet.

Railway Empire 2: India is not a standalone expansion, so it requires the base game Railway Empire 2. The list of new features introduced in this DLC is topped off with 20 new music tracks and "jingles".
