Railfan

Railfan is a railway simulator prepared by a team with such positions as Train Simulator and Let's Go By Train! The game was created exclusively for PlayStation 3 owners and uses the greatest advantages of this hardware platform.

By playing the game, the player plays the role of a train driver travelling through the Country of the Cherry Blossoms and certain regions of the United States. Driving a locomotive you can drive through the largest cities in Japan, headed by Tokyo or Kyoto, and get acquainted with the Chicago region in the USA. Thanks to the implementation of the option allowing to visit individual metropolises, the user moves between the appropriate places and receives the most important information about them.

With the ability to fully manipulate the camera, the player has the opportunity to freely set the view and observe the course of events from many perspectives. This solution makes it possible to accurately assess the distance between the train and the destination station and to properly increase or decrease the speed depending on the terrain. Because the manufacturers decided to use the same engine as in Train Simulator, the game is a combination of three-dimensional graphics and high-resolution video.
