Ragnarok Online DS is the transfer of the world known for the personal computer game to the Nintendo DS console. Our task is trivially simple - to stop evil, which may soon destroy all inhabitants.
Ragnarok Online is a kind of an MMO game of the same title, released in 2001. This time, however, this item is intended for owners of Nintendo DS portable consoles.
The goal of the game remained the same as in the PeCet version - exploring the world, improving their hero, fighting monsters, which is what MMO lovers like the most. The storyline also refers to its protagonist - in a world that is more or less unknown, people living in wealth and tranquillity are not aware of the imminent evil. Under the guise of scientific research, the secret brotherhood plans to resurrect the goddess, whose time has long passed. They need two things to do this - a person into whom the soul of the goddess can penetrate and sacrifice in the sacrifice of all the inhabitants of this world. Of course, as it happens in such stories, the plans of the secret brotherhood are trying to overcome the "good" heroes - Ares, an orphan from a small, forgotten village, and Sierra, who has lost the memory not only of her past, but also of everything that surrounds her. The player's task is to help the two of them.
The player leads his character by improving its coefficients and gaining new levels of experience. The creators of the game prepared quite a large arsenal of weapons helping us to save the world from destruction. What's interesting, during the game the monsters we kill, apart from the usual gold or other items, can drop special cards. These cards can then be used to improve armour or weapons. We can also do this at the blacksmith's. Each player's next level of experience results in receiving status points and skills, which we then spend, for example, on teaching our hero a new "profession" such as a merchant, a thief or a swordsman.
Great emphasis is placed on the community of players and teamwork - Ragnarok Online allows you to connect with two friends through Wi-Fi and travel together through the so-called Tower of Mirages consisting of more than 50 floors and randomly generated maps. In this tower players have the opportunity to get unique items.
