Relaxing two-dimensional puzzle game. During the campaign, consisting of 150 different levels, players listen to a narrator, an old man recalling events from his whole life.

Quell Memento is a 2D logic game that lets us take a peek into the life of an elderly man living alone in a big house. It was developed by Fallen Tree Games, a British development studio. It is worth noting that the game is an expanded version of two previous installments in the series, Quell and Quell Reflect, that were released for Android- and iOS-powered mobile devices. What’s interesting, a prototype of these three games was created at the beginning of the 90s of the 20th century, with Amstrad computers in mind.

In the game, the players have to solve logical puzzles that become harder with every subsequent level. They all base on the same basic pattern. We move a colorful block to the designated end point, omitting all the obstacles on the way by choosing the right path. The hub where we select levels was created in such a way, so that it resembles an old house. Each chapter represents one period in the life of its inhabitant, presented in the form of recorded memories and stories.
