Quake Arena Arcade Description
Quake Arena Arcade is a re-edition of the popular PeCet shooters Quake III Arena and Quake III Team Arena, developed for Xbox 360 users and offered as part of the Xbox Live Arcade service.
The general assumptions of the game remained in line with the prototype published for personal computers. We start a series of dynamic battles that focus on reflexes, accuracy and good knowledge of the available dots. In Quake Arena Arcade we can play on more than forty different boards, most of which were taken from the third part of the Quake series (including Ankh, Symmetry, Gantry, Hazmat and Forlorn). It is worth mentioning that the manufacturer has kept all the elements characteristic of the original, such as portals or lava, which poses a fatal threat.
In the Quake Arena Arcade we can choose between many interesting rock formations. The arsenal consists of both quite typical weapons (pistol, machine gun, shotgun, rocket launcher), as well as much more interesting tools of extermination. The second group includes, among others, the BFG, which has a huge impact force, and the nail gun, which instead of traditional projectiles fires nails. In addition to weapons, we can also use a number of power-ups, among which the most noteworthy are health regenerating extras, repairing armour, improving the speed of movement, increasing the strength of the weapons used or making the hero for a short period of immortality.
The game can be played with artificial intelligence-controlled boots or with up to fifteen other players. The list of fun modes includes such items as Free-For-All (classic Deathmatch), Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag (taking over the flag of the opposing team), Overload (destroying enemy skulls) and Harvester (collecting the skulls of defeated warriors and bringing them to the opponent's base). Our activities are constantly monitored and sent to global rankings. Twelve achievements can also be unlocked.
The producer has put a lot of emphasis on ensuring a high level of gameplay comfort. To move the character we use both analogues. The other pad buttons are used to jump, shoot, zoom in, rotate 180 degrees fast or change weapons. The struggles of the fighting characters are observed from the perspective of the first person.
