qrth-phyl is a Hermit Games-produced logic-arcade game, which is a three-dimensional variation on the classic Snake theme. The player controls the movement of a golden snake that moves in a cubic space. With each cube swallowed, the size of the "reptile" increases, making it more and more difficult to manoeuvre.

qrth-phyl, released on PC and X360, was developed by the independent Hermit Games studio and is addressed to fans of the cult classic from mobile phones - Snake. The production is the result of two years of work on a project that was originally abandoned in 2004.

Mechanics

Like the mobile original, qrth-phyl has no plot. The action takes place in a geometric world built of a labyrinth of cubes. The player controls the movement of a golden snake, which must devour the cubes on its way. With each element swallowed, its length increases, making it difficult to maneuver and increasing the risk of "biting" oneself.

The basic element distinguishing qrth-phyl from Snake is the three-dimensional environment in which the game takes place. The additional direction of movement opens up many new possibilities. Furthermore, the snake can not only move on the outside of the solids but can also go inside them through the holes.
