Push Me Pull You Description
Push Me Pull You for PS4 and PC is a one of a kind sports game dedicated to local multiplayer matches for two or four players. The game was developed by House House Games, an independent Australian studio for which the aforementioned title is a first major commercial project that already has received numerous accolades from various indie events and festivals.
Mechanics
Push Me Pull You is a multiplayer-only game for two up to four players who compete in a unique discipline that mixes wrestling with the elements seen in classic non-contact sports such as volleyball or basketball. Each team consists of two players that are connected with each other creating a worm-like being with two heads whose task is to hold the ball on their side of the field for a set amount of time.
Depending on the number of players, we control one or two ends of the being, which extends or shrinks depending on our movements. The worm can gird the ball and pull it along to a chosen direction as well as overpower or block the opposing team. The key to success lies in communication and coordinated control over both parts of the worm.
Aside from arena battles, the authors have introduced a sandbox mode in which we traverse an extensive map in search of various secrets and hidden items.
Technical Aspects
Push Me Pull You for PS4 and PC is characteristic for its colorful visuals. The player avatars are richly animated and have access to various skins and outfits. The gameplay is complemented by a unique soundtrack and pleasant audio effects. The PC version is only playable using a gamepad – in case of a 2v2 match; two players use a single controller.
