Puma Street Soccer is a football sport game created by Pixelstorm studio, based in Canada. It is known for several arcade sports productions, such as the Bankshot Billiards series.
Originally licensed by the German company Puma, the game focuses on the indoor version of football. After choosing one of the 30 four-person national teams, we compete in one of the three modes - friendly match, Puma World Cup or a series of league matches. They take place on small pitches surrounded by high bands from which we can bounce the ball. Each player has a limited number of special games and nodding methods. He can also perform sprints, two types of passes and a special, very strong shot. In this respect it resembles such productions as FIFA 99. Although during our adventure with Puma Street Soccer we visit arenas located e.g. at airports or parking lots, the same rules resemble those known from indoor games (such as the one concerning the inviolability of a goalkeeper at the gate).
Puma Street Soccer only offers one-player gameplay. The title does not allow for the configuration of the control keys, and the assemblies in it do not correspond to the true composition of the representation of the individual countries. In the game, however, you can find players who by name resemble players such as Deschamps, Matthäus or Chiesa, players sponsored by a German sports equipment manufacturer.
From the point of view of audiovisual setting, the production has three-dimensional graphics with many two-dimensional elements (audience, ubiquitous advertisements). The soundtrack consists of typical game shouts of fans and dynamic electronic music.
