An innovative action-adventure game that started as a free student project, and the first commercial title of Team Pixel Pi studio. We play as a blind person who uses echolocation to navigate their surroundings. Our hero is able to produce and register noises, using acoustic echo to create a visual reconstruction of the game world, complementing it with his memories of times when he was still able to see.

Pulse is an innovative action adventure game. This is the first commercial production of Team Pixel Pi studio. The title started as a free student project, and then it was improved and significantly expanded.

The game is based on an unusual idea. We play the role of a blind hero who uses echolocation to orientate himself in his surroundings. The character controlled by us makes his own sounds and registers others and thanks to the acoustic echo obtained in this way creates a visual reconstruction of the game world, supporting himself with his own memories from the times when he still had eyesight. The player's task on each level is simply to find the way to the target point and reach it in one piece.

The action is shown from the perspective of the first person and the player can see the surroundings most of the time. However, what will be displayed on the screen is not always true. The more information the hero collects with his hearing and other senses, the more accurate the visual reconstruction of the environment will be. In this way, the visible world is constantly being transformed in front of the player's eyes.
