Once again, we lead a caravan of brave warriors who, in the face of the impending end of the world, have to defeat evil once and for all. When it comes to gameplay mechanics, not much has changed. The game is still a turn-based strategy with RPG elements.
Vikings: Wolves of Midgard

The protagonist is Ulfung, a Viking clan chieftain, whose village is completely destroyed, while he becomes the leader of the surviving warriors in their quest to try to save Midgard from Ragnarok. Mechanics-wise, the game is clearly inspired by the popular Diablo series.

Eitr is an action-RPG based on the Norse mythology. It's the first game developed by the British studio Eneme Entertainment. Game's plot focuses on Yggdrasil, the world tree, that connects all of the nine worlds. When it was infected with a poisonous substance, the plague began to spread all over the nine realms. We play as a redheaded female warrior bestowed with powerful abilities by Loki, the trickster god. With those powers, she will try to stop the incoming darkness.

The action takes us to an open world in which fans of Scandinavian culture will find such mythical lands as Midgard or Muspelheim.
