The first story expansion for Dragon Age: Inquisition, a game developed by BioWare, released in the late 2014. The expansion focuses on singleplayer mode and adds a completely new plot to the story of the Inquisitor working to unite the people of Thedas and stop the invasion of demons from another dimension. This time the player is tasked with revealing the true fate of the previous Inquisitor and a powerful dragon that hunted him.

An online game from the popular action RPG series by Capcom, started in 2012 with the console release of Dragon’s Dogma. We are taken to a completely new land and play as a member of a team hunting powerful foes and discovering the secrets of the game’s world. Our character (and the whole team) can be created with a provided character creator. If there are no players willing to cooperate with us, we can play by ourselves, with our pawns controlled by AI.

A science-fiction RPG belonging to the roguelike subgenre; it is the debut project of Hollow Ponds - a studio founded by the creators of Hohokum. In Loot Rascals, the player assumes the role of an astronaut whose ship crashes on an unknown, hostile planet. The game's randomly generated world is made up of hexes, most of which are hidden at the beginning. The player often encounters aggressive monsters that are fought in real time.

A comedy open-world RPG developed by The Gentlebros, the creators of the popular Slashy Hero, for mobile platforms. As the title suggests, the protagonist of Cat Quest is a cat that travels an open fantasy world with a sword in his paw and an armor on his back. The story campaign starts when the cat realm of Felingard is attacked by dragons. We assume the role of a cat whose destiny is to become a Dragon Slayer and save its people.

The fourth major expansion to the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited by ZeniMax Online and Bethesda Softworks. The DLC pack allows you to become a member of the eponymous Dark Brotherhood, the most famous assassins' guild in the game's universe. This time they try to expand their influence in the western part of the Cyrodiil province, which lets you explore the locations known from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, especially the cities of Anvil and Kvatch.

A new installment of an unusual RPG from Defiant Development, enriched with board and card game elements. Similarly to its predecessor, the player is tasked with taking on the challenges created using cards rolled by a magical enemy, called The Dealer. Thanks to the efforts of the previous protagonist, he was defeated, but the hero was0 corrupted by his own power, and became a bloodthirsty tyrant. The Dealer returns to train a new hero, capable of facing his predecessor.

An episodic RPG with adventure game and card game features. The title takes place in the same universe as The Huntsman: Winter’s War movie. The story takes place at the same time as the events shown in the movie picture. During the game, the player assumes the role of Elisabeth, a young woman whose calm farm life is interrupted by the disappearance of her brothers. The protagonist goes in search for them, encountering many familiar faces and previously unknown dangers.

A two-dimensional action RPG modeled after a cooperative fighting game from arcade machines. The action of Dungeon Punks takes place in a fantasy world where humans lead contemporary-style lives, but the role of technology was taken over by omnipresent magic. The protagonists are couriers who accidentally discover the dark secrets of the RezCorp insurance company who resurrect their clients in case of death.

A spin-off to an installment in the popular series of Japanese games developed by Omega Force - Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires, a game that was released in 2014. In contrast to previous installments of the series, this time it is a turn-based RPG with strategy features. In Dynasty Warriors: Eiketsuden (originally called Shin Sangoku Musou Eiketsuden) the gameplay consists mostly of fighting battles on small arenas on which player moves and attacks by spending a certain number of action points.

A continuation to a jRPG bearing the same title. The game is part of a larger universe known from the The Legend of Heroes series. Trails of Cold Steel II begins a month after the events depicted in the first installment. The civil war in Erebonia began for good. Rean's goals are to find the remaining students from the Seventh Grade, as well as to put an end to the bloody conflict, which has torn the protagonist's native country apart.

Action RPG set in the universe of the extremely popular Touhou Project series. Players take on the role of one of the two available characters and explore the land of Gensokyo in search of a monster threatening it. The title contains arcade elements taken straight from shoot 'em up games in the style of bullet hell.

A science-fiction arcade RPG developed by Radical Fish Games. We are taken to a distant future, to a world where humanity spends its free time by playing a futuristic MMO called CrossWorlds. Our hero – Lea – returns to the game after a long break, as the game’s administration suggests that her loss of memory may be averted by logging back to the game.

A continuation of a mobile jRPG. The plot of Asdivine Hearts 2 follows the story started by its predecessor. Once again, we take control of Zack and a group of his friends, who embark upon a journey to a distant world of Archelio. When our hero gets struck with a magic curse, the rest of the team has to help him in lifting it. Unfortunately, the party had lost all of its equipment, while the land is plagued by a god-like being whose origins are a subject of a mystery.

Developed by a one-man studio called Wizard Fu Games, Songbringer is an RPG drawing its inspiration from The Legend of Zelda video game series. In the game, the player assumes the role of a hero, who travels throughout the galaxy on board of a space ship accompanied by a former programmer, who, before his death, transferred his consciousness to a so-called skybot.

RPG canceled

Another RPG game from Square Enix. This time a new team from Studio Istolia is responsible for the production. The developer is led by the distinguished producer Hideo Baba, who was previously responsible for the Tales of series.

An RPG game in which the player takes control of Gladia - a monster hunter - and manages a team of four, must find a cure for the mysterious plague. Exploration, talking to NPCs and fighting enemies are the pillars of the game. The clashes are played in turn-based mode, and the key to success is skillful juggling with special cards - the richer the gathered deck, the wider range of combat tactics can be used.

King Regis is telling his son a story about evil monsters that attacked the capital city of Lucis. Young king Regis and his three friends stood in defense of the kingdom. The gameplay of A King’s Tale: Final Fantasy XV is based on two pillars: going to the right and fighting hordes of enemies.

Crypt of the NecroDancer: AMPLIFIED is an expansion pack to the well-received roguelike Crypt of the NecroDancer developed by Brace Yourself Games. AMPLIFIED takes place before the events of the main game. We play as the shapeshifting Nocturna. With her help, we will explore the dungeons ruled by the demon NecroDancer. Gameplay mechanics remain unchanged.

The Ringed City is the second and final DLC to Dark Souls III, a well-received action RPG developed by From Software. Gameplay mechanics in The Ringed City remain unchanged. The DLC introduces a new mini-campaign in which we are chasing the Slave Knight Gael, who is searching for the Dark Soul of Humanity. It takes place in a new location where we will find new challenges, NPCs, and enemies. Just like in every Dark Souls game, we will have to face powerful bosses when playing The Ringed City.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited - Morrowind gives us an opportunity to visit the island of Vvardenfell, which is located in the titular province of Morrowind. The plot revolves around a mysterious sickness which has taken its toll on Vivec - a member of the Trinity of divine entities that have guarded this part of the world.

An online action RPG developed by Phoenix Labs studio, established by former employees of Capcom, Blizzard, Riot Games and BioWare. Dauntless takes us to Shattered Isles – a fantasy world destroyed by a mysterious cataclysm, with its continents torn apart and their fragments floating in the air. Those few who survived must face Behemoths – aggressive creatures that pose danger to all survivors, their only hope being warriors who hunt the beasts.

The add-on utilizes the gameplay mechanics from the core game — you complete a team of heroes and set out to explore the eponymous Darkest Dungeon. Your goal is to find enormous riches, with which you can expand a shabby hamlet, also serving as your base.

A sequel to Warlocks vs Shadows from 2015. The developers created a new story campaign, larger maps and improved combat, which now features more possibilities than previously.
