The fifth major installment of the popular Japanese third-person science fiction shooters by Sandlot. The story of Earth Defense Force 5 continues the storyline known from its predecessors. The Earth is attacked by aliens again, and the players, who represent the eponymous organization, have to repel the invasion. Mechanics-wise, the title doesn’t deviate from the typical formula of the series. The action is presented from the third-person perspective.

A unique tactical RPG from independent American studio Supergiant Games. The story of Pyre is set in a mysterious land called Downside, which is a variation on the Christian idea of purgatory. The main protagonist is rescued by a trio of masked travelers, who ask him to help them in unveiling the truth about the so-called Rites – an unusual competition, in which the winners can earn pardon for their sins and be freed from Downside. Pyre’s gameplay contains two fundamental parts.

Another installment in the popular baseball simulator series developed by Sony Computer Entertainment San Diego – the creators of the previous parts of the games. The key elements of the game remain almost unchanged. The developer’s main objective was to recreate the true baseball experience as faithfully as possible.

Another major installment in the series of brutal and bloody shooters developed by the Croatian Croteam studio. The story of this part is set before the events of the third installment, in which Sam had to face the forces of the main antagonist - Mental in a futuristic, virtual version of ancient Egypt. Mental's goal was, obviously, to take over the Earth. However, the story in this new installment seems to be a bit more mature.

A multiplayer-focused first-person shooter set during the World War 2, developed by British Bulkhead Interactive studio. The maps on which we play are inspired by real battlefields of the Great War, like the streets of Carentan or the forests near Bastogne. We play as an infantry soldier and take part in dynamic, purely arcade battles – though not without a good dose of realism, visible in e.g. faithfully recreated weapons.

911 Operator is a game, a strategy-simulator developed by Polish studio Jutsu Games, which is a reiteration of a project which won the Indie Showcase competition held during Digital Dragons 2016. In 911 Operator you become a rescue service operator, and your job is to answer calls from people in danger. The story campaign takes place in 10 cities – you will face many different challenges; some of them amusing, some serious, some frustrating.

Sports January 2025

A sports game described as a spiritual successor to Sensible Soccer. It was developed by Tower Studios, led by Jon Hare, former creative director of the aforementioned series and the co-founder of the once famous Sensible Software. The gameplay of Sociable Soccer is focused on fast and purely arcade football matches in which the player’s skill is the most important factor, although it is possible to switch footballers, set formation, tactics, and so on.

This greatly impacts the gameplay, making it more similar to the Tekken or Dead or Alive series. The King of Fighters IV is the first installment in the series to be released on PlayStation 4.

A futuristic first-person shooter focused on the multiplayer, developed by an independent American company - Adhesive Games. The story is set on a planet colonized by humans and eventually ruined through violent industrialization. Rival factions are fighting one another for resources required for survival; the battles take place in destroyed cities or ruined factories that became battlefields. The player picks a side in the conflict and takes control of a mech.

Star Trek Online is a Cryptic produced MMO game in the popular science fiction universe. The action of the game was set in 2409. Players take on the role of spacecraft commander, and their main occupation is to explore remote corners of the galaxy, perform various missions, fight against enemy units and trade. Fans of the Star Trek series will find in the game many references to the events known from the silver screen.

Arcade air shooter, taking place during World War I and World War II. We play as a pilot and take part in famous heavenly battles. Production allows you to play in two control modes and in addition to the campaign includes a pair of individual scenarios. The game does not lack multiplayer mode.

Gone Home is a debut project of an indie developer The Fullbright Company, whose members previously worked on a successful DLC for BioShock 2, Minerva’s Den. Gone Home is set in the United States of 1990s. You play as a young woman named Katy, who returns home after spending a year away in Europe. When she gets home, instead of her family she is welcomed by an empty house.

Under Defeat HD is a revised and refreshed version of the classic shoot'em up game, which was released on the Dreamcast console in 2006. The action of the title was placed in an alternative version of our world and allows us to play the role of a pilot of a combat helicopter, fighting during World War II.

Soulcalibur: Destiny Broken is an arcade fight created for the technical capabilities of the PlayStation Portable handheld console by Namco Bandai developers. The game is based on solutions characteristic for the whole Soulcalibur series. Players then direct the actions of the duelling heroes using a variety of weapons in fantastic arenas. The creators foresaw several variants of fun, including versus, arcade and survival modes.

The fourth full-fledged installment in the Killzone series developed by Guerilla Games. Killzone: Shadow Fall is the series’ debut on the 8th generation console – PlayStation 4. The game’s story takes place 30 years after the events presented in Killzone 3 – two feuding factions, Helghast and Vektans, coexist on one planet, each faction inhabiting its predefined zone divided by a sturdy wall.

The player takes on the role of Young and, led by the voice of the mysterious Sage, travels through the fantasy lands of the subconscious. The audiovisual setting of the game refers to the era of 16-bit computers.

Your duties include designing a high-security prison, managing its budged, and providing for the needs of inmates. The authors saw to it that each prisoner had his individual personality and corresponding criminal inclinations.

The third installment in the Star Wars-themed first person shooter series, which comes back after 10-year hiatus and with audiovisuals befitting the eight generation of consoles. After Lucas Arts Studio, who developed the first two parts, was closed, the works on the sequel were handed over to EA DICE. The game once more takes you into the age-old war for the galaxy and lets you choose one of two sides of the conflict.
