Another installment in the series of dynamical action games traditionally developed by Omega Force. This time the player assumes the role of Yukimura Sanada, one of the more popular protagonists of the series. We follow his story from birth, through the trainings that prepare him to combat, to the civil war and death during the siege of Osaka. The gameplay is similar to the one present in the previous games in the series and is based on battles with thousands of participants. Among the improvements created by the developers there is a selection of game modes – the adventure starts in the “castle city”, a base from which we can not only select playing mode but also participate in various side activities. The main mode of the game is a historical war campaign during which the player has freedom to select tactics and optional objectives. What’s new are the “Long-term Battles” – fights that take many hours and have a day and night cycle. An upgraded version of the fourth installment in the Samurai Warriors series, which came out for the tenth anniversary of the franchise. Developed by Omega Force, the game was released not only for Sony consoles, but also for PCs. The game is a conventional TPP hack-and-slash, featuring spectacular battles. Samurai Warriors 4-II is set in Feudal Japan, and the player takes part in subsequent skirmishes, fighting both smaller groups of enemies and entire armies. The game offers dozens of Japanese characters to choose from. In comparison to the basic version of Samurai Warriors 4, this edition brings several significant changes. The game introduces two modes - the Story Mode (offers thirteen new scenarios) and Endless Castle (a mixture of the Survival and Challenge modes from the previous installments). Gameplay as such was modified, as more emphasis was placed on strategic elements, an ability to combine weapons (to obtain more powerful versions) was added, and the character development system was remodeled. Apart from a single player experience, the creators included a co-op mode.
