Developers from Koei prepared 9 historical and fictional scenarios, available in three game modes.

Of course, again in the main roles were cast the great humanoid creature and the always accompanying robot.

The subtitle was again borrowed from the literary work of Friedrich Nietzsche, and the influence of this nineteenth-century German philosopher can also be seen in the actual game.

A spin-off to the Gran Turismo series, essentially a narrowed-down version of Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec, focusing on car models exhibited at motor shows in Tokyo, Seoul, and Geneva. The game offers around 100 highly-detailed cars. Competition takes place on the circuits borrowed from the third installment, albeit with an inclusion of a new track in Tokyo – R246 – known primarily from the previous parts of the Autumn Ring series.
