A bundle of two games from the Prototype series developed by Radical Entertainment studios. Aside from the first and the second entry, Prototype: Biohazard Bundle contains all the DLCs from Prototype 2 Radnet Edition. Each title has been remastered for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, offering much better visuals, with 1080p resolution support, upgraded texture quality and smoother gameplay.

Prototype: Biohazard Bundle is a bundle of two sandbox games from Prototype series developed by Radical Entertainment. It was published by Activision for PS4 and XONE.

Plot

The first Prototype features Alex Mercer as a protagonist. He mutates into a shape-shifter during the break-out of infection in New York. He uses his new-found powers to fight with military’s quarantine, as well as to pacify the population of the city. In Prototype 2, we play as James Heller, who receives similar powers to Mercer’s, but is fixated on exacting revenge on the previous hero, blaming him for his family’s death.

Game mechanics

Both titles from Prototype: Biohazard Bundle are sandbox action games with TPP view, in which we traverse a huge map, fulfilling main and side quests. Our character can change his body in many ways, including changing into other people by absorbing them (along with their memories and skills) or creating various kinds of weaponry, which not only let him deal with enemies, but also devastate his surroundings.

Technical aspects and miscellaneous

Prototype: Biohazard Bundle has been prepared with PS4 and XONE in mind, so both games have been remastered. Developers made sure to provide players with improved visuals including Full HD support, high quality textures and effects, as well as improved performance. Additionally, the bundle includes all DLCs that were previously exclusive to Prototype 2 Radnet Edition, like new mutations and challenges. There is also additional content that was part of pre-order’s bonuses.
