Projekt Z: Beyond Order is a first-person shooter set during alternate World War II, during which the Germans tried weaponizing the undead. It was developed by an indie studio 314 Arts and published by Modus Games.

Plot

Projekt Z: Beyond Order is set on a zombie-infested island. During an alternate World War II, Nazi Germany tries weaponizing the undead to tip the scales in their favor. We must survive this dangerous place and foil the Nazi plans before they get out of control.

Mechanics

Projekt Z: Beyond Order is a first-person shooter. There are many missions to undertake, which progress the story and shape the world around us. It's up to our actions how it will end up. There are many enemies opposing us and many different weapons to dispatch them with.

We'll spend downtime between quests in our hideout. Here, we can craft new weapons, ammo and other materials. We can also build structures to unlock new possibilities. Since we need resources, we must be vigilant and gather them while out in the field. We're not alone on our quest; we'll meed friendly NPCs along the way, who can join us and help us fight the Nazis.

Game modes

Project Z: Beyond Order is playable solo but only reaches its full potential in co-op. Alongside the story campaign, there's also survival mode in which we face waves of undead.

Technical aspects

Projekt Z: Beyond Order features high-quality visuals. The weapons and locations especially have plenty of detail to them. The game is also rather brutal and bloody.
