The first version of this game appeared in the eighties of the twentieth century. The remake, created exclusively for the Xbox 360, in fact has little in common with the original - it is a space shooter, worthy of a new generation of consoles. Game Arts development studio is responsible for creating this position, and its publisher is Square Enix.

Project Sylpheed can be considered an unusual shooting for several reasons. The first of them is the fact that the creators decided to focus on the plot, which is not always the most important in typically arcade productions, focused on fighting (in this case cosmic). Here, between battles, we watch beautiful intermittent scenes, introducing us to a complicated intrigue, and the game gained the atmosphere of a science fiction film. The most important characters in the crew of our ship are Ellen, Katana and Margras. In addition to the history of war between the Terra Central Force and the ADAN Allied Force, we also learn about their daily adventures and mutual relations. Interestingly, the authors of the screenplay managed to weave in even a love thread.

We have at our disposal both small agile ships and powerful cruisers. Part of the mission we carry out alone, and sometimes we attack the enemy in a group, along with other ships with which we are in alliance. In addition to full freedom of movement in space, one of the main advantages of this game is the ability to customize the weaponry of a starship. There are more than fifty weapons to choose from. It is also necessary to equip the spacecraft with appropriate shields: both typically mechanical and special power fields.

Placing the action in space gave the authors of the visual setting a lot of possibilities - we can admire beautiful planetary systems, amazing explosions, colorful lasers, etc. It's all impressive, as are the great battles between many spaceships.
