Project Joe

This title represents a genre of adventures and uses a classic point & click interface and very nice two-dimensional hand-drawn graphics (resolution 1024x768, 32-bit color). The product in question deals with the absurd adventures of an individual named Joe, who is the head of "The Crowbar", a bar in decline. This restaurant wants to take over the great investor Otto Bay, but his financial proposal is ignored by the owner. The businessman wants to build a giant supermarket "The Sunshine Plaza" in the place of the bar, so he ruthlessly uses his influence in the local authority centre to deprive Joe's bar of customers and thus cash. When this does not work he hires an English paid killer, hiding under the pseudonym Jaguar, who is ultimately to get rid of the problem. The main character's level of life threatens to increase in this situation. The whole thing is complicated by the fact that the bar is a hiding place for the local mafia, which does not want to leave its "home" and demands that Joe take concrete steps to leave the bar untouched. Joe stands between the proverbial "hammer and anvil", and the player has to help him in choosing from this situation.
