Pro Cycling Manager 2022 is the next installment of the popular cycling manager series, which began in 2001 with Cycling Manager. The game, like all previous parts of the series, was developed by the French Cyanide studio.

Game mechanics

The authors acquired official licenses, thanks to which we can find real players and teams in the game. The game offers several hundred races and stages of cycling competitions. In addition, there are 21 official stages of the Tour de France 2021 race.

The game allows you to play the role of a manager of a cycling team or to manage the career of a single player. In the first option, we choose one of the existing teams or create our own. Then we have to deal with recruiting cyclists, organizing their training, taking care of morale, providing them with the highest quality equipment and hiring staff (including coaches, doctors and scouts looking for new talent). You also have to take care of the financial side of the whole thing, including finding sponsors.

On the other hand, if we want to take care only of a single cyclist (which is done in the Pro Cyclist mode), we first have to create one. Then he joins a team chosen by us, where we make sure that he achieves success and has better and better form, which allows us to unlock new skills and receive offers from better teams.

Compared to the previous installment, Pro Cycling Manager 2022 offers a lot of new features and improvements. The authors have implemented a new scouting system, which requires sending scouts to different regions and developing their statistics. The creation mechanisms of new cyclists have also been changed - not only are they more flexible and behave like real sportsmen, but every year there are 1500-2000 of them, which is three times more than before.

The cyclist development system has also been expanded and now takes into account such things as relationships with other team members and the coach. The races themselves are also more varied, and players can enjoy an improved interface.

Game modes

Pro Cycling Manager 2022 allows both solo play and competition with other players in multiplayer mode.

Technical aspects

The game features fully 3D graphics that realistically depicts the tracks and races.
