An another installment in the Basketball Pro Management series. A basketball management game created by the experienced Cyanide and Umix Studios. The game includes more than a thousand basketball teams from 45 leagues (plus national teams). As a manager, your job is to lead your club to successes – acquire new players, plan training schedules, take care of the finances, decide line-ups and tactics for the matches.

Pro Basketball Manager 2016 for PC is the first title of the new manager series produced by French Umix Studios and Cyanide, famous for such sport games like Blood Bowl, Pro Rugby Manager or Pro Cycling Manager. Even though the game took a new title, this is a continuation of Basketball Pro Management series developed in 2012 by Umix studio utilizing the crucial elements of the previous games, like mechanics or interface.

Gameplay

Pro Basketball Manager 2016 does not considerably differ from Basketball Pro Management. You assume the role of a basketball team manager with the purpose of leading your club to the top by buying new players, planning training, or taking care of finances. The game’s core element is to set line-ups along with tactics, which you need to adjust to the situation on the pitch. Pro Basketball Manager 2016 offers 45 leagues from all over the world – including US College Championships – along with national teams. The game’s database includes more than 1000 real teams. You can also be the coach of a national team and compete in international or continental tournaments.

Technical aspects

From the technical point of view, the game for PC bears a strong resemblance to the previous parts of the game by Umix – the visuals and interface have been slightly modified, so if you are an old hand, it will feel like home. However, there is of course a whole new bunch of improvements in the game’s mechanics, AI, and the 3D engine.
