Prince of Persia: Epilogue

Prince of Persia: Epilogue is the first DLC to an action adventure game Prince of Persia, released via digital distribution exclusively on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. It explains the events in the original game and expands its ending.

Epilogue shows what happens directly after the story told in the base game. The action takes place mostly in a redesigned version of the Underground Palace. The expansion provides about two hours of gameplay.

With new locations comes a new ability for Elika, the Prince’s companion. Energize lets her recreate a fragment of the environment that has been destroyed. Thus, the hero can now reach previously inaccessible places. There, he encounters a new enemy – Shapeshifter. Defeating him requires a new, previously unavailable tactic. This is because he is able to change his shape and take forms of opponents known from the original game.

The new tactic uses Sprinting Clash ability that allows the Prince to quickly stun an opponent. After that, the enemy is exposed and prone to damage. This makes the cooperative combat of the Prince and Elika even more spectacular.

It is noteworthy that completing the DLC is rewarded with concept art of the Prince and Elika.
