Prince of Persia Classic Description
Prince of Persia Classic is a remake of a popular platform game set in Oriental setting. The original game was released in 1980s, starting a highly popular series.
Obviously, the game is set in Persia. The protagonist is cast into a dungeon by an evil vizier, who wants to take over the state. The villain captures a princess and intends to forcefully merry her. Player's mission is to escape the underground maze, save the princess, and defeat the vizier.
On their way, players must overcome a series of traps and obstacles. The game requires lots of precision, especially when it comes to jumping and sword fighting. There are three game modes: Normal, Time Attack, and Survival (you have only one life). Apart from the enemies, one is bound to encounter many dangers – falling debris or spikes coming up from the floor.
The 2D visuals were significantly updated as compared to the original game released 20 years earlier. Players observe the action from the side perspective, although the game supports high resolution. The titular prince learned many new moves. The soundtrack was composed from the scratch for this edition of the game.
