Populous: The Beginning - Undiscovered Worlds

Populous: The Beginning - Undiscovered Worlds is the official expansion to Populous: The Beginning (originally Populous: The Third Coming), the third installment of the cult series of "god games", launched in 1989 by Bullfrog. The add-on is available only on the British and American market.

Plot

The plot of Populous: The Beginning - Undiscovered Worlds continues the plot started in the base game and shows what happened after the shaman controlled by us in the third game has become a true god. We play as a new shaman (shown in the intro to Populous: The Beginning), who, in the absence of her boyfriend, tries to restore order to a world in constant wars.

Mechanics

Undiscovered Worlds doesn't introduce any changes in the graphics and mechanics. During the game, we try to lead a group of our followers, at the same time facing hostile tribes. The developers of the expansion focused entirely on the additional content in the form of twelve completely new missions, designed to play in single- and multiplayer modes. Attentive players will certainly also notice a few previously unavailable effects - which, although created for the original game, have never been used in it.
