Pool Slide Story is an economic strategy game about building and managing a water park. The game was produced by Kairosoft, a Japanese studio specializing in this genre, that is the authors of such titles as Game Dev Story, Venture Towns, The Pyraplex, The Sushi Spinnery, Dungeon Village and Beastie Bay.

Game mechanics

In Pool Slide Story, we become the manager of a modest water park and our task is to make sure that it makes a profit and grows dynamically.

While playing, the player constructs pools, both indoor and open, slides and other water attractions. We can also build, among other things, souvenir stores and food and drink stalls, where it is also necessary to select the menu.

Our responsibilities also include managing employees and balancing expenses with revenue. Satisfied guests make our water park famous, which increases the number of customers. The player can make friends with visitors, so they share valuable comments and suggestions with him.

Similarly, bigger and bigger pools and additional attractions increase the number of visitors and thus our earnings.

Technical aspects

Pool Slide Story offers simple, but pleasing graphics. It's made in 2D in a retro style full of large pixels, and the character designs and their animations are slightly humorous.
