Why buy a fancy-schmancy pool table wedged into your living room like a bloated whale? And those ceiling-tall cue sticks are known to target human eyes. And think about all the money you could save to go into your video-game piggy-bank!
With Hudson’s newest game Pool Revolution: Cue Sports coming soon on WiiWare™, there’s no need to have space-hogging, eye-poking, money-devouring hobbies take their toll on you. We want you to relish in the recreation and enjoy the entertainment, and we’ll even put it all in the aesthetically pleasing form of a… video game!
Coming to WiiWare, Pool Revolution: Cue Sports gives you a classic game that can be savored both offline with local friends in your living room or online over the Nintendo® Wi-Fi Connection against the pool sharks of the world. Will you have a face off with the neighborhood hot shot, or pair up with the English pub-frequenter? (British accent not included.)
If you want to start off with baby steps first, you can set the strength of a shot by using buttons on the controller. For the more experienced or challenge-seekers, you can arm yourself with the Wii Remote™ that can be used just like a real cue: just pull back and strike! For an added dosage of realism, the strength of your shot will depend on the speed you strike with your Wii Remote.
You’ll even be able to choose from the most popular types of pool, capable of up to four players, such as eight-ball, nine-ball, rotation, and snooker. Not ready to be quizzed on rules and formalities of the various types of pool? No problemo, you’ll be equipped with a handy in-game explanation. Yes, we support Equal-Opportunity-Gaming!
Still itching for more of a challenge? Pool Revolution: Cue Sports even has the option of trying your hand at trick shots. Still not satisfying your CEO-like ambition? Create your own trick shots then have the luxury of pointing and laughing when your friends can’t figure it out! Or if you want more casual play rather than full-blown competition, you always have the option of customizing your gameplay to create a difficulty level that fits you like a snuggly glove.
And the best part of Pool Revolution: Cue Sports? You won’t have to bend over the table and unintentionally show off your butt. Or see your friends’.
