Prepared by the German company Netmin Games, Poker Simulator had its world premiere in 2009. It was published in Poland by IQ Publishing. The publisher took his task very seriously and introduced changes that adjusted the product to suit local players. Thanks to these efforts, the game not only gained a full Polish language version, but also enriched the image of a well-known poker character.

The game is aimed at people who are familiar with poker in Texas Hold'em - No Limit to varying degrees. Beginners will find there a school teaching basic principles, a lexicon of this sport and several variants of training. You can also use 4 poker mini-games to add variety to the training. More experienced people can improve their skills such as bluffing and body language reading skills.

The main game of Poker Simulator is based on seven tournament modes (6 eliminations and the final). Players can set the size of the table (from 2 to 10 players), the level of Artificial Intelligence (from layman to poker legend) and even one of the three game styles for each of the computer-controlled opponents. Optionally, you can also turn on the random factor, so that virtually every hand looks different.

Graphic design in card games plays a secondary role. However, the developers of Poker Simulator have moved away from the typical 2D view for this type of production. There are 50 three-dimensionally animated characters in the game and the tournaments are held in 16 different locations. It is also possible to change the operation of the cameras, including setting the view from the first person's perspective.

Poker Simulator offers several options to personalize the game. Players can import their photos and enter names and even add their own music.

In addition to one-person play mode, the Poker Simulator allows up to 10 poker players to play together over the Internet.
