Pokemon Camp is an application for fans of the Pokemon cycle. It allows you to visit a training island inhabited by creatures, play several different mini games, learn new facts about the brand's story and take pictures of the real world, and then enrich them with virtual elements.
Pokemon Camp is a set of mini games of dexterity and logic connected with the title cycle. The project was developed by Pokemon Company and it is a completely free production. It can be downloaded to AND and iOS devices at no charge and the authors did not foresee any micropayments.
Story
At Pokemon Camp we go to a tropical island inhabited by hordes of pokemons. This place serves as a training centre for people dreaming of a career as a trainer of these creatures, which is facilitated by various exercises and advice given by professionals in this field.
Mechanics
In the game this idea was realized in the form of a set of various mini games of skill and logic. One of them is to identify pokemons in their natural environment, helped by the 360-degree camera. Another challenge requires shooting the Poke Ballem in a creature leaning for a moment with dense and tall grass. We can also test our knowledge of the pokem transformation cycle and take part in a simple card game. Recent competition requires image analysis and pointing to an element stronger than the one shown on the screen.
An additional attraction is the Photo Booth option, where you can take pictures with the camera on your phone or tablet, and then enrich them with elements from the world of the Pokemon series. Playing with all the mini-games is rewarded with points and gathering a sufficient number of points allows you to get to know the mystery of a cave located on the island, access to which is initially blocked.
