Pocket Racers from Konami is, as you can guess, another variation of racing. This time we drive miniature vehicles, and the arena of our struggle is the usual, everyday environment.

In Pocket Racers the player plays the role of a spoiled teenager, turned by a vengeful demon into a miniature car. Our near future is a series of hectic races in which we fight for survival. We compete in a fully interactive environment - many objects can be destroyed by our vehicles, and many can be used to prevent others from winning. We can always count on the demon to make every next route more difficult than the previous one.

Cars in Pocket Racers are a reflection of the soul of the unfortunate player and can be expanded by collecting so-called Soul Shards, which are scattered around the competition area. Collecting Soul Shards has many benefits, such as dealing more damage to enemy vehicles, more easily destroying obstacles on the road, or gaining extra weapons to escape rivals (e.g. afterburner boots, ice freezing enemy cars, etc.).

The routes of each stage are quite varied, because we have to race in the bedroom, kitchen or warehouse, among others. In each location you should look for hidden bonuses and shortcuts, which can significantly affect the outcome of the game. The player has a set of vehicles with a variety of features that need to be adapted to the requirements of the route. And so we have sports cars, lorries, four-wheel-drive off-road machines and so on. We should not forget the hidden vehicles that we can get for the achievements in the various stages.
