Platoonz is a network strategy with elements of RPG and action games, which allows us to play the role of military commander. The game is the responsibility of Antic Entertainment - a studio specializing in productions designed for web browsers. The main goal of the game is to defeat the troops of Evil's malevolent army.

At the beginning of the game we get a camp under our command, which will be the main starting point for recruited soldiers. Its expansion is a key element of Platoonz - buildings located in the player's base directly affect statistics and military development. There are various types of training centres, buildings to speed up the regeneration of energy (the coefficient necessary to send units on missions), as well as shops where you can buy better and better equipment. As time passes and the player's rank increases, more advanced buildings are available.

The recruited soldiers are divided into 3 classes - Grunt (basic class, available from the beginning), Tank (specializing in close combat and taking on a large amount of damage) and Commando (classic damage dealer - low endurance, highest damage dealt out of the available three). Each character is described by 6 factors characteristic for the RPG genre: stamina, attack speed, attack speed, defense, movement speed and accuracy, which in addition to the level of the hero's experience also depend on some of the buildings placed in the base and his equipment. With each level of experience they gain points that can be used to unlock various skills (e.g. handling certain types of armour, carrying heavier armour).

Properly prepared units are sent to missions, during which we oppose more and more enemy troops. During these clashes the player can give one of five commands to his forces - units can retreat, push forward, attack everything in sight, fall to the ground to avoid enemy missiles and stop the march. The strategic use of these commands is extremely important and determines success or failure. Apart from the enemy soldiers, we can also find armed turrets, fortresses, minefields and even bombings. You can also use disposable items, including grenades, first-aid kits and even nuclear charges.

Producers have not forgotten about people who want to face their friends. After reaching the fifth level of experience, the player can put his troops into duels with other users.

As in other Antic Entertainment games, Platoonz is characterized by a graphic design, which together with music contributes to the creation of an "egg-car" atmosphere.
