Plasticity Description
Plasticity is a mix of platformer and puzzle game. Game focuses on the problems of climate change. The game was developed as part of the USC Games project, under development by the University of Southern California.
Plot
The action presented in Plasticity takes place in 2140. Due to the fact that mankind has not stopped using plastic objects, the climate on the planet has changed dramatically. During the adventure, the player takes on the role of Nora - a young girl who leaves her home and goes on a journey in search of a better life.
Mechanics
Plasticity combines platformer and puzzle game elements. The player's task is to move through successive locations, filled with environmental puzzles that need to be solved to continue the adventure. In addition, decisions that play an important role in shaping the game world should be made during the game.
Game modes
Plasticity is a short game for one player. It takes maximum 40 minutes to complete the game.
Technical aspects
Plasticity graphic design is maintain in cartoon style. Although the backgrounds and character models are made in full 3D, most of the time the game is seen from the side view.
